Instructions for creating a share on the 5big SS

If you need to create a share on the 5big Storage Server for other PC's to use and connect to for data storage, please follow the following steps.

After connecting a monitor and keyboard/mouse to the device -

1) From the desktop, open "My Computer" and open drive letter D.

2) Right click in the window and select "New" then "Folder"

3) Name the folder as you please

4) Once created, right click over the folder and select "Share"

5) The File Sharing wizard will appear, add users as necessary and click on "Share".
