If I lose connection to LaCie Fuel because I'm out of range, will it automatically reconnect when I am back in range?

This depends on the device and other wireless networks in the area. If your device is set to remember the LaCie Fuel network, then it should re-establish connection with the LaCie Fuel automatically. However, most devices will automatically connect to your normal Wi-Fi network when the LaCie Fuel is powered off or disconnected. The LaCie Fuel has a Wi-Fi range of 150 feet, or 45 meters.
